I am so excited that I have to make this announcement right at the outset. I am attempting to better the Guinness World Record for the largest display of mandalas.
Over the past few months I have fallen in love with mandala art. Particularly dot art. On canvas, MDF, rocks and bottles. I am really enjoying the process of seeing a piece of art come to life. It is extremely calming and therapeutic and allows me to spend some quality time with myself. The connection between my soul, the drawing tools, the paint and the painting surface is intimate and everything else seems like a million miles away. No wonder art is also used as therapy in many parts of the world and is becoming a part of mainline medicine.
To put some additional focus to my endeavour, and to ensure that I stay routed to my table, I am now upping the game just a little bit. I am going for a Guinness World Record. I hope to better the existing record for the largest display of mandalas that stand at 4,096 by painting and putting together at least 5,000 individual mandalas. It will take me many weeks to complete the project and I hope it will be worth it.
