Congratulations on completing Level 1 and a warm welcome to Level 2 of the British English Pronunciation Course. In Level 2 we will learn about 400 more words, in addition to the 250-odd words we learnt in Level 1. The words in this level are less common compared to the ones in Level 1, but common enough nonetheless. Words that you might end using in your daily conversations. An average adult knows about 20,000 words, of which about 3,000 are very common, most of which are quite easily pronounced. Like a, an, the, it, but, sit, go, to, yes, no, etc. After completing Level 2, you would have learnt to pronounce about 700 words and will be on your way to becoming a proper English speaker. Take your time, there is no hurry. Listen to the pronunciation repeatedly so that you can ingrain it in your brain and not depend on wondering what it sounds like just by looking at how the word is spelt. All the best.
